As is the case with mass baits, mini particles, be they seeds or grains, act in the same way. Our own Carpticle™ micro seed blend is perhaps the most well-known of this type of bait, being a very complex blend of tiny seeds that when cooked release attractive aromas on the bait carpet that few fish can resist. Crushed seeds can also be used where conditions allow and crushed hempseed is probably one of the most effective. On its own crushed hempseed is too dry to feed effectively so blend it 60/40 with Red Factor™ or SuperRed™. The resulting blend can then be mixed with water and then formed into groundbait balls that can be fired from a catapult. Other mini particles include the little-known peanut granules, which will add considerably to the pulling power of any type of bait. These are the kernels of the peanuts, and they are high in natural oils and protein. They also form part of the recipe for SuperRed™.
