"I bought this yesterday and it arrived today. Bigger than I was expecting and looks well made. It isn't clear from the picture but the roof is solid to keep off rain which is nice. So far it is withstanding Starling attacks (which was my purpose for buying it). My robins were confused at first but soon worked it out. A good price, great service and if it continues to keep the Starlings out I will be delighted!" - Marie Walker

"I bought this feeder back in the winter. Its taken the robin 3 weeks to get in,its starling proof. The robins in and out all day. The blue tits started to get in in the spring, its such a joy to watch them going in and out. The best feeder ever. it's worth every penny." - Mrs ban fahmi

Superb product !!!
Score
"I was amazed at how quickly birds took to this feeder. A male Great Tit used it as soon as I had gone indoors, with absolutely no hesitation. His mate was slightly more confused, but she and the Sparrows and Robins were all using it within minutes, once they had figured out where the larger entry/exit holes were. It has totally defeated the Magpies that were eating all my mealworms - the reason I bought this feeder. - James Davies." - A Happy Customer

It worked!

"I bought this on the recommendations here saying that it was starling-proof! I didn't put mealworms in it - I have put suet sprinkles in. The starlings were the only ones that tried it for a week - nothing else went near it. The starlings could not get in at all -so that was a result, but nothing else tried! Then I put a stick through below the holes as a landing platform, and a couple of days later, the first bluetit went in. Now I have blue, coal and long-tailed tits using it, but the robin has not. The great tits are happy with the sunflower seed feeder and the sparrows with the seed feeder. I do put a suet block out for the starlings, so I don't ignore them! It was just that they were so greedy, nothing else got a look in. - I am really pleased with it. Hazel Lackie - a Happy Customer!!!" - A Happy Customer

Super feeder!!

"I had a lot of STARLINGS ~ They were eating all the food and the poor robins, finch, tits etc were not getting a look in but this feeder solved all the problems. Good strong quality feeder, easy to clean and birds were feeding on the first day. VERY HAPPY ~ and delivery was super quick. " - Catherine Hayes

Didn't work!!!!!
Score
"Starlings went straight in and scoffed all the worms! Maybe I have skinny starlings, but I doubt it with the amount of food they consume. I have made the holes slightly smaller by using wire, so far they haven't got back in, but neither has any other bird yet. " - A Happy Customer

Disappointed
Score
"I'm scoring this low because I bought this feeder to stop the Starlings getting at my mealworms and was really hopefully after reading the reviews on here. I received my cage yesterday and out it went this morning with mealworms. I hadn't even got back to the backdoor before the Starling were in, I think it took them all of 10 seconds! "Took months and repositioning plus a perch stick to get them started and then boy what a treat! All the tit family are using it. However the coating from the underside of the lid has peeled off in just a few weeks (and its been the driest Spring in decades). Also the starlings have now gotten into it even with the perch stick removed. I think the above reviewers spoke too soon! The plastic coating from the inside of the lid has come off even though its the driest Spring in Dublin for decades. However all in all I wouldn't like not to have it." - A Happy Customer
