Live mealworms are vegetarian larvae and are clean and odourless. Mealworms are rich in protein (48%) and fat (40%) and are relished by many species of bird.
Mealworms are the perfect bird food for taming shy birds, such as Robins, who have been known to take live foods from the hand. Live mealworms can be kept for up to 14 days in a very cool place - many people keep them in the fridge!
Mealworms will be shipped separately from your seed order to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition and will be delivered by Royal Mail
