Waxworms
Larvae of the wax moth

Waxworms are fed delicious nutrients such as honey and wheat germ

Highly nutritious with soft skins, wax worms can provide a very important source of food - especially for fledglings

Can be stored at room temperature, however we find they last longer stored in a cool garage or even in the fridge.

Please note live foods are are sent by royal mail and therefore are not available on the next day delivery service. Also please note we do not despatch Live Foods outside the UK

"Blackbirds & Robins go absolutely crazy for the live waxworms, & the Robins usually win the race! They will see off any other bird they think are daring to steal THEIR waxworms no matter how big!! The waxworms seem to last longer than the Mealworms, although I always buy both & use the Mealworms first" - Andy Leyland
