Our Story
It all started from a small pet shop in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire
in the 1930's, when my grandfather John Edward Haith (Ted), decided to advertise super-clean birdseeds.
The response was staggering - no one had ever seen bird foods quite like it, and it was only a matter of time before
the Haith name became renowned for quality, cleanliness and service.
It was not long before he had to move to large premises - and in 1947 he bought an old chapel in Park Street, Cleethorpes - converting this and the adjoining buildings into a seed warehouse and offices.
The business continued to grow steadily and eventually in 2008, after more than 50 years, the decision was made to move again.
Today we are still a family run firm with traditional values, providing total customer satisfaction and a personal level of service at all times, along with the reassurance of Haith's name.
