Britain's finches are distinctive birds full of endearing character. From the beautiful Bullfinch to the gorgeous Greenfinch, they're all familiar faces at the bird feeder.
The Hawfinch (Coccothraustes coccothraustes) is a passerine bird and is part of the finch family (Fringillidae).
