A half coconut shell filled with seed-rich suet ready to hang in your garden. Unwrap it and hang it and prepare for anything from tits and finches, Starlings and Long-tailed Tits, to a swashbuckling Great Spotted Woodpecker.

This is such a good product and the birds love it - the string attached is very useful to hang straight up , birds soon come flocking in .

"No Birds" by Tony Rome
03 Dec 2016
I'm sorry to have to report that despite having the feeder hung up with four other bird feeders, not one bird has visited it. The blue tits in particular are happy to cling to the other feeders but not this feeder. The feeder has now been up for at least a week.
No, I will not recommend this product
Haith's customer services:
Sorry to hear the birds in your area are not eating the suet. Please feel free to contact our customer services department to discuss this matter.
Many thanks
Kind regards

"Can'T Get A Look In!" by bronwen

Baby starlings can eat a coconut feeder in one morning, my little birds sit looking longingly at this feast. I have now hidden one in a tree , the little birds have found it and the greedy big birds can't get at it.

"Very popular with the birds!" by Rebecca Taylor

These feeders are incredibly popular in our garden. The Long-tailed Tits, Coal Tits and Blue Tits love them, and we are always amused by the lengths the Blackbirds, Starlings and Great Spotted Woodpecker will go to, to try to get a bite.

"Coconut feasts" by Wendy E.A. Blewett

The Birds love them, but unfortunately the Squirrels bite through the string and then take them away and no doubt consume the lot. I have found the only way to stop the Squirrel(so far!) is to hang the cocunut feasts on a very long piece of wire threaded through the hole where the string is and watch how frustrated the Squirrels get! I have passed this idea onto my friends and they have found it works.
