The Big Red Carp Fishing Blog
Those hazy heat wave days are now a distant memory but if, like me, you dislike extreme heat (where carp fishing is concerned) you have the consolation of knowing that we are coming into the best time of the year to be carp fishing, the autumn.
It was the end of June when I had an email from both Ken and Simon, asking me if I would like to test a batch of already rolled baits. My first question was "whose rolling them" the answer came back that it would be Rollin Baits.
I would like to look again at the subject of attraction via the use of non-synthetic products that rely on natural extracts and foods.
It was great to hear from Simon the main man at Haiths, and almost at the same time from the amazing bait brain that is Ken Townley, both asking similar things, and those being, would I be interested in testing some special upgrades to their already existent range of ready to roll base mixes. Although on this occasion the bait was to be made for me in the form of 15 mm boilies and rolled by the highly respected Rollin baits.
Because of my busy schedule I haven't planned any longer fishing sessions this summer. I decided to go for some weekend fishing when I have time.
